Drawing on her keen eye for color, fastidious organization skills and a love of all things typography, Kristen creates memorable experiences with pixels and with ink. She has spent over a decade communicating ideas through visuals for juvenile products, beverage, healthcare, technology and sports industries as well as small businesses and independent artisans. She co-founded Bread and Butter Publishing, which has allowed her to pursue her passion of illustrating storybooks for children.
Kristen thrives on connecting people with what they love. Whether helping to bring passionate people together with communities that support them, services to those who need them, products to folks that enjoy them or individuals to their families and friends, she believes meaningful connections are what design is all about.

Even at a young age, she cultivated her creative imagination and entrepreneurial spirit. Not content merely curating her array of stuffed animals into a backyard zoo exhibit, Kristen took her first stab at hand-lettering to make custom markers for each animal on display and offered tours of the grounds in her red Radio-Flyer wagon.

These days, when not exploring her loves of nature and typography, she can be found in the kitchen with her crew of little aspiring chefs cooking up ideas for dinnertime or plotting their next adventure.
